About Satopanth Lake Trek

Satopanth lake is triangular lake of serene water has a perimeter of about half a kilometer. It is about 25 Kms. from Badrinath. Brahma, Vishnu and Maheshwar, the Hindu trinities are believed to occupy one corner each, and which are named after them. The trek is hazardous, but full of dramatic scenery. There is no place to rest between, except caves. Cooked food,stove etc. have to be carried from Badrinath itself. It is a glacial lake surrounded by high snow capped peaks, 25 km from Badrinath.

Itinerary

Day 01 10hrs Arrive Delhi Upon arrival at Delhi met our representative and transfer to hotel for overnight stay
Day 02 6 hrs Delhi – Rishikesh (230 kms/6 hrs)
Day 03 8-9 hrs Rishikesh – Joshimath (245 kms/8-9 hrs)
Day 04 2 hrs Joshimath – Badrinath (45 kms/ 2 hrs)
Day 05 2 hrs Badrinath – Mana – (3 kms drive/20 mins) Vasudhara- Mana Village-Bheem Bridge
Day 06 4-5 hrs Vasudhara – Laxmi Van – Satopanth (7 kms/4-5 hrs)
Day 07 6 hrs Laxmi Van – Vasudhara fall – Mana – Badrinath
Day 08 10 hrs Badrinath – Haridwar (290 kms/10 hrs)
Day 09 6 hrs Haridwar – Delhi (210 kms/5 hrs)
